Our Journey So Far...

Since purchasing our first boat in February 2025, we’ve been steadily transforming it into a safe and welcoming home. It’s been a real labour of love—gutting the boat, removing rust, insulating the interior, and installing new electrics and a full plumbing system. We’ve done all of this while balancing our jobs, responsibilities, and everyday life, working whenever we could to keep the project moving forward.
Now we’re entering the next crucial stage. Once the boat is fully kitted out, we’ll need support to secure a mooring. This will allow us to welcome our very first homeless person on board and offer them a place to call home—a stable, dignified, and hopeful beginning.
The Hope Floats is built on the belief that everyone deserves safety, warmth, and a chance to rebuild. Thank you for following our journey and standing with us as we take this next step.
